Andrew Mitchel LLC has extensive experience in international taxation. The founder, Andrew Mitchel, is an international tax attorney with 18 years of tax experience. Prior to founding the firm, Andrew worked at PepsiCo, Inc.s world headquarters in New York. As a Senior Manager of International Tax Planning, Andrew provided international tax planning advice to PepsiCos operations throughout the world. He was integrally involved in tax planning related to acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings. Prior to working at PepsiCo, Andrew worked for five years in the international tax department of United Technologies Corporation, and before that for five years in public accounting. Andrew received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Eastern Connecticut State University (Summa Cum Laude), his Juris Doctorate degree from The University of Connecticut, and Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from New York University. He is a member of the International Fiscal Association, the American Bar Association (Tax Section), the Connecticut Bar Association, and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
